Vampire Knight...

Well, like many people right now, I have Vampire-Mania! ;9

And since I have come down with this, I have been entertaining myself with (many) "vampirique" (?) movies, books and animes...
(at least what I can get my hands on, since the "new" vampire books out aren't cheap at the moment...)

So of course, I have seen all of the "Twilight" saga movies that are out (Twilight and New Moon, can't wait for the two next ones!!!), read all the vampire related books I could get my hands on and while I was wildly searching the internet for more vampires, I stumbled upon a japanese anime that showed lots of promise: "VAMPIRE KNIGHT"...

So I ended up watching the whole first season online and then the whole SECOND season;"Vampire Knight GUILTY". And I have to say, it was AWESOME!!! The story and characters are soooo enchanting, it's surprising I had to dig so far to find it!!! :D

So since I officialy am in LOVE with this anime, I have decided to make a "compte-rendue" of the story line (without giving away any spoillers, because that would suck...) Here I go!

VK is the story of a young teenage girl called Yukki who has no memory of her passed life prior to a snowy night, 10 years ago, where she was saved from a rogue Vampire by the handsome Kaname Kuran, a "Pure blooded" Vampire... (yes, because in the VK world, there is an hierarchy with vamps, the "Pure-blooded" ones being on top since they are much more powerful and rare...)

(photo 1; Yukki at the lower center, Kaname Kuran on her right, Zero Kiriyu on her left and many other Night Class students in the background...)

Having no known family, she was adopted by the Headmaster of Cross Academy, a very exclusive private school where two groups of people attend class; the "Day class" (who wear black uniforms, just thought I'd mention) and the "Night Class", that consists entirely of Vampires!!! (they wear white uniforms, the contrary of the Day class students) The night Class students are all very rich and gorgeous as you can imagine, which is why every night, at twilight, the Day class students (but mostly just the fan-girls) gather in front of the "Moon Dorm" (the Night class dormitories) to watch them go off to class while screaming like deranged groupies...

(photo 2, Yukki and her adoptive father as well as many plush toys...)

Not only is Yukki the adopted daughter of Cross Academy's Headmaster, a very strange and particular man (one of my favorite characters, he's just so funny!), but she is also the night time Guardian of Cross academy (the "Disciplinary commitee") along with her Partner, Zero Kiriyu.

The Disciplinary Commitee (currently only two members) exists to protect the Day students and protect the Night class student's secret... They mostly maintain peace at Twilight when all the Day class groupies encourage there idols (without knowing that they are actually Blood thirsty Vampires).

...

Not only is the "night class" at Cross Academy inhabited ONLY by vamps, but they are also rather arrogant, insolent, elegant and think of themselves as... "aristocrates" !!!(well they actually ARE, but you know what I mean...) -_-"

(Photo 3; a "Night Class" appearance from the anime, sorry, Not ALL of them are here...)

Having high regards towards her saviour Kaname, Yukki belives that Vampires and humans can co-exist peacefully, which is NOT the opinion of her friend and partner Zero, who's familly was killed by a Vampire many years ago and who is still looking for the best way to kill these "Monsters in human form" as he is, at the same time, hidding a very big secret... :3 (hon! Hon!)

(All characters, drawings and titles belong to Matsuri Hino, the genius who thought of and drew VK...)

Have a nice day (or night)!!! ^^

Kitty hell

The worst has indeed happened and it takes the form of two adorable (yeah right!) playful kittens. A short while ago our family adopted two young cats.

And this would have been fine if they weren't two destructive little demons!

This all started a few days after they moved in.

Climbing the curtains, peeing under the t.v., spreading kitty litter on the hallway floor and among other things one of those cute furry balls of death chewed and broke MY m.p.3 cord.

The night I discovered the shattered remains of my poor innocent now lifeless ear phone cord, I swear I let out a wack that must of woken the dead from here(Canada, Quebec) all the way to Australia.

And there they are the two miscrients, mocking me! But I must admit that it is rather hard to stay mad at such cute little faces.

Even so, they're living in the shed now where they are no longer a danger to m.p.3 cords.

Another one that dosen't enjoy having cats running around in the family home is Poupoune. She has been very bitter and gained a few pounds and stopped shaving... Just kidding!

This is a special pose called, "Lifes a bitch, Poune!"

She is not the only pet of the house now and she's taking it hard. I'm sure she will be fine.

until next time see ya'!

Hello Hello Hello!

Well, I can't believe this! I finally have a blog! Yeah...

Even though it is kind of a challenge since I never type in English (I rarely type at all), so if you are some kind of English whizz and you see a mistake that I might have missed, you can tell me on my comments(as long as you're gentle- Dude or Dudette).

I will try my very best to be interesting and relate my crazy high school knitter-14-year-old-mangaka life.

Down to business now. Maybe you've noticed the strange picture of a dog on the side bar. That is my Boston Terrier, Poupoune (it's a french name that I didn't pick, she is adopted). If this silly creature had a resume it would probably be :

  • Licks alot
  • Sleeps all the time
  • Loaths any balloon, ball or circular object
  • Favorite food is pizza crust
  • Scared of the dark
  • Crooked teeth

And this knitted dragon scarf that my totaly cool mom made is sooo what I want for christmas! You can also see details on her blog.

'Till next time au revoir!
